**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and administer our PostgreSQL database infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of database servers and related software
- Implement and maintain database security protocols and access controls to protect sensitive patient and client data
- Monitor database health and performance, and proactively identify and address potential issues
- Implement and maintain database backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability in the event of system failures
- Stay informed about the latest developments in PostgreSQL technology and best practices, and make recommendations for database architecture and infrastructure improvements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PostgreSQL database administrator
- Solid understanding of database design and implementation best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and database scripting languages
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of healthcare data management and security requirements is a plus
