**Job Type**: Independent Freight Broker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Independent Freight Broker to join our team. As an Independent Freight Broker, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carriers and shippers, negotiating freight rates, and overseeing the transportation of goods from origin to destination. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, shippers, and other industry professionals to expand your network and secure new business opportunities.

Negotiate freight rates, terms, and contracts with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.

Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring timely pick-up, transit, and delivery.

Track shipments and communicate updates to relevant parties, addressing any issues or delays promptly.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to identify potential business opportunities and optimize operations.

Utilize freight management software and tools effectively to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Prepare accurate and comprehensive documentation, including bills of lading, shipping invoices, and other required paperwork.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an independent freight broker or in a similar logistics role.

Strong knowledge of freight transportation modes, including truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and international shipping.

Proven track record of building and maintaining a client base, demonstrating excellent sales and negotiation skills.

Proficient in using freight management software and tools to manage shipments and track performance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

High level of professionalism and integrity in all business dealings.

Valid freight broker license and any other relevant certifications are preferred.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Night shift
- US shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
