At Sunrise, our Account Specialist is responsible for providing dedicated A/R customer service support to
all Sunrise communities.
- Provide collections and account management support to a number of communities,
residents and responsible parties
- Address customer inquires
- Recognize customer service complaints and know when to refer those back to the client to
address/resolve before collections proceed forward
- Review accounts and settle disputes
- Act as a liaison between the community and responsible party
- Respond to specific statement and payment inquiries
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to various team members on collection procedures
- Successfully collect and close on past due A/R accounts
- Work with communities to proactively stop payments from becoming uncollectable
- Support month-end close deadlines and duties as part of the monthly corporate
accounting close efforts

**Benefits**:
Qualifications:

- Minimum of three (3) years customer service experience
- Minimum of four (4) years collection experience in/for a healthcare services organization
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast paced environment and consistently meet
department deadlines
- Ability to recognize customer service complaints and when to refer those back to the client to
address/resolve before collections efforts proceed forward
- Prioritize activities, and follow-up on pending items with assigned communities
- Oral communication - English as a first language. Able to communicate with all customers and
team members in a professional and confident manner
