Waitress and Bartender

Job Description:
The bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring a positive guest experience. This role requires knowledge of a variety of beverages, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare Drinks**:

- Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes or customer requests.
- Garnish drinks with appropriate ingredients such as fruit slices, cocktail umbrellas, or other garnishes.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers, take drink and food orders, and provide recommendations if asked.
- Handle customer concerns, resolve complaints, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- **Inventory and Stocking**:

- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
- Keep the bar stocked with necessary supplies such as alcohol, glassware, ice, and garnishes.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management.
- **Cash Handling and POS**:

- Process payments through the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Accurately account for all transactions and reconcile the cash drawer.
- **Cleanliness and Maintenance**:

- Keep the bar area clean and organized by washing glassware, wiping down surfaces, and clearing away empty glasses.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Follow all relevant regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Understand and follow procedures for handling intoxicated customers and any other safety protocols.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other bar and wait staff to ensure prompt service.
- Assist in other areas of the bar or restaurant as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer-facing role preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible service of alcohol.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
