**Job Description**:
+ Review and validate chemical data packages in accordance with United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) guidance to ensure compliance with published analytical methods and usability of environmental data

+ Upload laboratory analytical data to a specific client and regulatory databases

+ Manage data in relational database systems like Earthsoft EQuIS or Microsoft Access

+ Manipulate electronic data deliverables to create report-ready tables and visualizations

+ Participate in the development of new data management workflows and automated tools

+ Prepare technical memoranda and white papers to be included in client deliverables

+ Develop new data management workflows and automated tools

**+ Task management**: Assign and manage workloads of chemistry staff

+ Use analytical data to determine forensic source area characterization

+ The project chemist will support quality assurance/quality control, data management, data analysis, and various analytical chemistry aspects of environmental investigations for our clients.

+ You’ll be valued as a unique resource as you contribute and support our project teams by providing key technical assistance for various environmental remediation and monitoring projects.

+ You’ll interact with technical experts to refine field sampling and test plans, coordinate between multiple projects and laboratories to ensure analysis and testing is performed without a hitch and be the technical liaison between the laboratories and project teams.

**Qualifications**:
+ Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or another related discipline

+ 2-5 years of relevant experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education

+ Knowledge of environmental chemistry principles (i.e., environmental fate and transport)

+ Knowledge of analytical chemistry principles (i.e., quality assurance and quality control)

+ Familiarity in data validation, data review, field screening, data management, and sampling

+ Experience using relational databases such as EQuIS or Microsoft Access

+ Experience evaluating organic vapor analyses

+ Experience inte
