A leading marine safety company based in the UAE, is expanding its operations in India and is seeking a qualified Accountant. The company specializes in providing innovative marine safety solutions and services to the maritime industry, ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our marine safety company's finance team. As a n Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company's financial operations. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in managing the financial aspects of our business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Invoice and Payment Processing: Responsible for processing invoices related to the project and ensuring that vendors and contractors are paid accurately and on time. They also verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Cost Allocation: In cases where a project involves multiple departments or cost centers, project accountants allocate expenses appropriately to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized financial records related to the project is essential for tracking expenses, revenues, and compliance. Project accountants are responsible for this documentation.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports related to the project's progress, budget adherence, and financial performance. These reports are often shared with project managers, senior management, and other stakeholders.\
- Communication: Regularly communicate with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members to provide updates on the project's financial status and address any financial concerns.
- Software and Tools: Learn Accounting software and financial tools to streamline their tasks and maintain accurate financial records.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA)
- Proven experience as a junior Accountant in a marine safety company or a similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP.
- Familiarity with maritime industry regulations and accounting practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
