- Netbackup Administrator**Job Location**:

- Chennai**Experience Required**:

- 3-5 yrs- Skill : Backup profile - 3-4years of experience in VeritasOperate back up console options
Perform back up and restore using SOPs
Create reports as required using SOPs
Perform index building to change data from Recoverable mode to Browsable mode.
Configure the storage policies, storage units, Auxiliary copies, schedule policies, copy replications.
Configure the replication to DR site and checking the data integrity in DR site
Administration of backup servers like monitoring drive capacity, services, patches and mount paths
Install and configure of SQL and Oracle iDataAgents.
Configure Virtual server agents on Netbackup and backing up virtual machines.
Perform file level restores, Full Virtual machine restores.
Import/export of tapes to DR site.
Experience in Installation & configuration NetBackup
Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN Client backup (Fiber Transport)
Upgrade and patching the Backup servers
Backup/restoration (DR) of UNIX/ Windows Host
Backup/Restore for Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP
Managing Internal Database of NetBackup
Managing & Troubleshooting NetBackup appliance, Tape Library and Data Domain
Provide product support for EMC Networker across various accounts Technical Skills

Operating Systems, Application & Virtualization:
Log into servers using login commands

Tape Management (Physical & Virtual Tape Libraries):
Differentiate between Physical and Virtual Tape Libraries, in a given environment.

Network:
Operate remote management (remote console) tool for operation completion purpose.

Cloud:
Explain about Backup on / to cloud

Behavioral Skills
Interpersonal Skills, Nurturing Relationships
