Mri Technician

Responsibilities:

- Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to produce diagnostic images as per physician's orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning patients correctly.
- Maintain MRI equipment, perform regular quality checks, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate with radiologists to determine the proper imaging techniques and to discuss diagnostic imaging results.
- Manage the scheduling of MRI procedures to optimize scanner utilization and patient flow.

Qualifications:

- Degree or certification in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Valid license to practice as an MRI technician.
- Experience with MRI procedures and equipment.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
