THE TYPE OF PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in many of the following:

- Degree or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience conducting UX design research in a design or digital product development context.
- Experience with a broad variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, ideally demonstrated through a portfolio.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key insights
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Experience with managing projects semi-autonomously, and working on various projects in parallel.
- Contribute to a good collaboration and partnership with a variety of teams by bringing consumer insights, qualitative and quantitative data together into actionable insights.
- Experience working in a large organization, in an agile development environment, and/or in a product team setting are all pluses.

What you'll be doing day to day

In this role:

- You will be contributing to establish and execute on the research agenda for various subdomains.
- You feel comfortable doing secondary research, summarizing previous (internal and external) reports and identifying gaps we should do primary research on.
- Create research plans that match the appropriate research methodologies for the question at hand, but also take into consideration possible limitations like timelines and budget.
- Executing various types of research, from quick guerilla testing in the store or on the streets, to in-depth ethnographic interviews in people’s homes and also enjoy sharing your work so others can learn from you.
- You have experience driving the analysis of the fieldwork but also enjoy co-creating the analysis with other researchers or team members.
- Ensure the research insights are translated in actionable next step and collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that research insights are integrated into the design and development process.
- Besides supporting your domain, you are also part of a larger research community of around 40 researchers which you use to grow, learn, teach and share findings.
