Key Responsibilities:

- Export and Import Coordination:

- Plan and execute export and import strategies to meet business objectives.
- Oversee the entire logistics process, from order placement to final delivery, for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Customs Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

- Stay up-to-date with international trade regulations, customs laws, and tariffs to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and review necessary documentation, including customs declarations, export permits, and import licenses.
- Address any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance and resolve them efficiently.
- Supply Chain Management:

- Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, sales, and production, to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure a continuous flow of goods.
- Freight and Transportation Management:

- Evaluate and select freight carriers, shipping routes, and transportation modes to optimize cost and delivery time.
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping companies to achieve cost savings.
- Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks in the logistics process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement proper insurance coverage for shipments and evaluate insurance options for cost-effectiveness.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve logistics performance.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, including shipment status, costs, and delivery times.
- Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance logistics operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and systems that optimize logistics efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in logistics management, specifically in export and import operations.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with various transportation modes, freight forwarding, and logistics software/tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of managing and motivating a diverse logistics team.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and handle high-pressure situations effectively.

**We need someone with dedication to learn and follow procedures and implement it to the maximum and to find new ways to make the system more efficient and effective.**

Approximate salary: 15000-30000 per month

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
