Reconciliation Executive

**Job Overview**:As a Bank Reconciliation Executive, you will be responsible for reconciling the company's bank statements with its internal financial records. This role involves identifying and resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bank Reconciliation**:Perform daily, monthly, and annual reconciliation of bank statements with the company's financial records.
Identify and investigate discrepancies between bank transactions and internal accounting entries.
**Transaction Verification**:Verify the accuracy of financial transactions, ensuring that they are recorded correctly in the organization's accounting system.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
**Record Maintenance**:Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including bank statements, transaction reports, and reconciliation documents.
Document and communicate any adjustments made during the reconciliation process.
**Communication**:Collaborate with internal departments, especially finance and accounting teams, to obtain necessary information for reconciliation.
Communicate with banks to resolve discrepancies and obtain clarification on transactions.
**Reporting**:Prepare and present periodic reports on the status of bank reconciliations to management.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the reconciliation process.
**Compliance**:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Stay informed about changes in financial regulations that may impact the reconciliation process.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bank reconciliation or a similar financial role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
