**Machine Maintenance**: The fitter is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various machines used in têxtile wet processing, including dyeing machines, finishing machines, and other equipment such as pumps, compressors, and boilers.
- **Troubleshooting**: They diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. This involves identifying mechanical, electrical, or operational problems and implementing solutions promptly.
- **Routine Inspections**: Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any signs of wear and tear, damage, or malfunction. Regular maintenance helps prevent breakdowns and ensures optimal performance.
- **Calibration and Adjustment**: Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired processing parameters such as temperature, pressure, and speed. This ensures consistent and high-quality têxtile processing results.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all machinery and equipment meet safety standards and regulations. This includes conducting safety checks, installing safety guards, and providing training to operators on safe operating procedures.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repair. They also order replacements as needed to avoid delays in maintenance activities.
- **Documentation**: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspection reports, and equipment manuals. This documentation helps track equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and plan future maintenance schedules.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, including machine operators, supervisors, and engineers, to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize production efficiency.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in equipment operation and maintenance practices. This may involve implementing preventive maintenance schedules, upgrading machinery, or adopting new technologies.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergencies to minimize production downtime and mitigate potential safety hazards. They must be available for on-call duty and capable of making quick, effective decisions under pressure.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
