- Verify API functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, isolate, replicate, and report issues found during testing.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new functionality does not introduce unintended issues.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts based on project timelines and requirements.
- Document test results and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and new testing methodologies.Technical Experience
- Strong understanding of API testing tools and techniques.
- Experience with database testing.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other relevant web technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with mobile app development or testing on Android and iOS platforms.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.Professional Attributes
