**The Opportunity**
Experience: 1+ years of experience
- Role: Contract

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Writing 90 articles per month (lifestyle and entertainment pieces)
- Generate unique and creative story ideas that mix sports analysis with an entertainment angle.
- Conduct research, follow trends, and stay up-to-date with the latest happenings in US College Sports.
- Work closely with editors and the sports team to ensure content meets editorial standards and audience needs.
- Utilize SEO best practices to ensure articles reach a wide audience.
- Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, videos, and interviews into content to make it more engaging.
- Review content for factual accuracy and general accuracy of grammar and context. Ensuring that content is written as per Sportskeeda’s guidelines & checking spelling, grammar & scope of the text
- Pitch story ideas and assist the vertical lead with content strategy/plan for events.
- Track topics around the College Sports entities via Google Trends and other tools
- All news within the shift should be covered within the mentioned time and nothing should be left for the next shift.
- Provide any other content-related assistance that may be required for any other articles/static pages
- Help in growing the College Sports section of Sportskeeda.

**Requirements**:

- In-depth game knowledge - especially on tactics, salary caps for teams, fantasy football, and NIL deals is a plus
- A network of relationships with sports personalities, athletes, and other key figures in the college sports space for exclusive content is a plus.
- Knowledge of betting odds, spreads, and other match odds is a plus
- A personal network across the College Sports ecosystem (players, coaches, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
