**Job Overview**:
Key Responsibilities
- Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed
- Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
- Analyze procurement requirements and ensure that all materials meet the specifications and standards of the company.
- Cost Effective Procurement of various IT Hardware, Non-IT items, Office Facility, Services (manpower, rentals, event setup, etc.).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal service domain leaders (HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing, IT etc.) to understand their service requirements and procurement needs
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and terms. (Engage in discussions with existing and prospective suppliers during the contract renewal or direct negotiation phase, focusing on contractual and commercial terms such as pricing and volume discounts)
- Purchase order preparation, Commercial Bid Analysis, Vendor compliance
- Ensure on-time delivery of items and services.
- Develop reporting metrics and service levels for management view on a periodic basis
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- New Vendor Development to maintain competitiveness and high-quality standards.
- New Vendor on-boarding process.
- Train and mentor SCM employees
- Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to address and resolve queries related to invoicing and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Handle administrative tasks related to purchase orders, developing contracts/agreements for various vendors.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new products that can enhance efficiency.
- Assess and mitigate procurement risks.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.- Proven experience as a Buyer in the Office facility, IT Procurement, manufacturing industry, minimum [7 years].- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of market dynamics.- Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software [e.g., ERP Systems].- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.- Detail-oriented and highly organized.- Experience in contract management and supplier evaluation.
