Job Title: ICSE Biology Teacher

**Job Description**:
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Biology teacher with 4 to 5 years of teaching experience in the ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) curriculum. As an ICSE Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging biology education, fostering a deep understanding of life sciences, and promoting critical thinking and scientific inquiry among students.

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:Develop and execute well-structured lessons aligned with the ICSE biology curriculum, covering core biological concepts, evolution, and ecological principles.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and hands-on activities to make complex topics accessible and engaging for students.

Laboratory Work:Oversee and conduct biology experiments and practical work, emphasizing safety measures and proper lab techniques.
Encourage students to participate in experiments to reinforce theoretical knowledge.

Assessment and Evaluation:Design and administer assessments, including tests, quizzes, and assignments, to evaluate students' comprehension and progress.
Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain open communication with parents regarding academic performance.

Academic Support:Identify students in need of additional assistance and offer personalized tutoring or extra support.
Adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Educational Resources:Select or create appropriate teaching materials, textbooks, and resources that enhance the learning experience.
Stay updated with the latest educational resources, technological tools, and scientific advancements.

Classroom Management:Maintain an organized and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
Cultivate a culture of respect, inclusivity, and active student participation.

Collaboration:Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and conferences to communicate students' progress.

Professional Development:Stay current with advancements in biology education and teaching methodologies.
Attend relevant workshops, seminars, and training sessions to continuously enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Possession of teacher certification or relevant teaching qualifications.

Experience:4 to 5 years of teaching experience, with a focus on the ICSE curriculum for Biology.

Subject Expertise:Proficiency in Biology and an in-depth understanding of the ICSE curriculum.
Ability to convey complex biological concepts effectively.

Communication Skills:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in communicating with students, parents, and colleagues.

Classroom Management:Strong classroom management skills.
Capability to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Technology Proficiency:Proficiency in integrating educational technology and software for teaching and assessment.

Passion for Teaching:A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing students' curiosity and passion for biology.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 per week
