A restaurant captain manages the dining experience for guests, ensuring that they receive high-quality service. Their responsibilities include:
- Supervising food and beverage services: Overseeing the flow of dishes, training servers, and ensuring timely and accurate service
- Maintaining cleanliness: Ensuring the food and beverage service area is clean and organized
- Maintaining inventory: Managing the inventory for food and beverages
- Promoting guest satisfaction: Establishing rapport with guests, building loyalty, and gathering feedback
- Managing team members: Handling daily team member relations, and encouraging problem solving
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment: Ensuring that only the highest quality products are being served
- Staying knowledgeable: Being knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu and offerings, and being able to answer any questions that guests may have
Restaurant captains should have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
