**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Drafting and Design**:
- Prepare detailed drawings of civil engineering projects, including site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, and other related drawings.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, modify, and update drawings.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**:
- Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure drawings are in compliance with industry standards and project guidelines.
- **Documentation and Revision**:
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and documents.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
- Ensure that all revisions are documented and updated in the project files.
- **Quality Control**:
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and verify conditions.
- **Technical Support**:
- Provide technical support to the engineering team during the design and construction phases.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Civil Draughtsman in a construction or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
