**Key areas of responsibility**:
To perform the radiology procedures as per the department protocols and to ensure
comprehensive patient care.
**Main job Tasks;**
- Ensure policies and SOP are followed.
- To adhere to quality protocols as per NABH standards and maintain monthly reports.
- Participates in training programs.
- Deliver effective, pleasant & professional communication to the patients/bystanders.
- Reduce patient waiting time/time consumed for diagnosis (TAT)
- Responsible for the safety, upkeep and maintenance of all equipment within the department.
- Will maintain log books for all equipment with relevant information regularly updated
- Will adhere to the defined work flow pattern.
- Will place regular indents for stores, consumables and drugs as well as developer and fixer
chemicals if required.
- To ensure the x-ray room and darkroom is kept tidy and clean.
- Will follow radiation safety norms accurately.
- Will ensure proper disposal of fixers
- To make sure the bed-sheets and the patient gown is clean at all time.
- To check, keep and maintain all the accessories in the room.
- To prepare x-ray envelopes for patients.
- To prepare processing chemicals and to maintain it.
- To maintain the x-ray processors.
- To wash the rollers and processing tank weekly at a suitable time.
- To process x-ray films.
- To maintain film and chemical levels in the darkroom and inform the authority if need to order.
- To despatch the reported radiograph as per the policy.
- To maintain the department statistic on a daily basis..
- To collect supplies from store and to photocopy departmental documents.
- To assist the radiologist in performing radiology procedures when the need arises.
- Ensure that the communications are passed effectively to the patients
- Will perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Other Tasks ;
- Maintain MIS and send reports periodically.
- Controls cost and expenditure related to department stationery, telephone usage as well as
minimizes wastage of electricity and water
- Ensures that the NABH standardization process is in place as per the deadline
**Salary**: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Malappuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- total work: 3 years (preferred)
