- ** Data Governance**: Standardization of data definitions and ensuring consistency in usage as per definitions across systems/products/regions.
- ** Meta Data Management**: Leveraging data lineage, data discovery initiatives and creation of enterprise level meta data for all retail consumer products
- ** Data Ownership**: Identifying trusted data sources, data owners and consumers across process and products
- ** Issue Management**: Identifying defects and investigating root causes for different issues. Following up with stakeholders and creation of plan for resolution as per SLA
- ** Audit Support**: Identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches and providing data evidence for audit completion
- ** Data Certification**: Developing procedures on data certification and certifying as per fit for purpose criteria

**Expertise Required**:
**Analytical / Project management Skills**

As a SME
- Should focus on data strategy and roadmaps for NAM PBWM business, identifying critical data deficiencies that are impacting Credit Card prioritized processes from origination through consumption (i.e., on-boarding, servicing, regulatory compliance and regulatory reporting process)
- Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of relevant data assets of NAM from a business context that may be physically residing in various technical environments
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver on NAM Book of work to ensure regulatory reporting, Internal Audits and Consent order compliance asks
- Build and understand the current state data architecture and leverage those artifacts for building strategic roadmaps for Credit Card business
- Define authoritative data sources for NAM PBWM business aligning with Citi Governance Policy
- Establish data certification & attestation process aligning with Citi Governance Policy
- A comprehensive data and controls flow model from origination to Consumptions
- Ensure data Lineage mapping is completed for Critical data elements. SAS automated Lineage framework using AI
- Complete comprehensive list of CDEs and metadata for Credit Cards business

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Mapping CDEs to appropriate processes, Data Domains, Data Concepts, and Data Sources and maintain accurate business process maps.
- Reviewing business glossary with the Process Owner and publish it to enterprise Metadata Repository.
- Support Data Custodians, Data Stewards to manage and update data dictionaries.
- Lead efforts to implement or modify necessary policies, procedures and system enhancements to fill current and future Data Governance Gaps
- Champion and execute the business’ strategic data plan and policy to improve data governance
- Subject Matter Expert on data management policy, data standards, Issue Management ,Data Quality and other data-related policies and standards.
- Understand concerns, challenges and roadblocks team is facing and provide them all the required support to overcome the same.

**Domain Skills**

Good understanding of
- Banking domain - Should have good exposure /experience in Credit Card or Retail or Mortgage business
- Audit Framework
- Data quality framework
- Risk & control Metrics
- (preferred) _- Knowledge of Finance Regulations, Understanding of Audit Process

Nice to Have Skills:

- Exposure to BI tools and technologies - example: Tableau or Cognos or SAS BI or Qlikview, etc.
- Automation and process re-engineering / optimization skills

**Educational and Experience**:

- MBA / Masters Degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech / B.E in Information Technology / Inform
