**_ The Role:_**:
- Based in Asia, this position will be responsible for delivering technical support and guidance for the management of H&S policies and procedures in country programmes where OGB is Executing Affiliate within the region. Promoting a culture of safety and wellness by contributing to the implementation of H&S policy, standards, regulations, guidance, SOPs, capacity building, delivering training courses and completing field visits. This pivotal role will support and enable country offices to deliver their duty of care to our staff. This position has a functional matrix relationship to the (global) International Health and Safety Lead.
**_ What we are looking for:_**:
- Good knowledge and experience of providing Health and Safety advice, support, and training in a large international organisation
- Experience of working with a diverse range of people and teams in multiple locations and / or countries
- Understanding of risk management and how Health and Safety can work effectively with other functions (e.g., security management, human resources management, supply, and logistics)
- Experience in delivering, designing and quality-assuring effective communications and presentations (e.g., for workshops and training)
- Experience in influencing positive change in behaviour and practice in teams outside of the immediate management line
- Interest and enthusiasm to learn more about delivering Health and Safety to a high standard in INGO operations
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Numeracy and computer proficiency (MS Office packages)
- Adaptable and flexible.
