**Job summary**

As a UX Designer, you'll be responsible for project work as well as helping shape the direction of our teams. Working as a valued member of a multidisciplinary design team, you'll be involved in complex projects, and will participate in user research and design planning.

In addition to primary project work, you'll contribute to design systems such as our pattern library, visual design library, and motion library, as well as mentor junior designers on the team. You'll hone your communication skills by presenting your work to diverse stakeholders and the broader technology organization.

**Job responsibilities**
- Advocate for the users' perspective when collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to plan roadmaps, gather requirements, and structure the work
- Create & deliver simple & elegant solutions to complex design challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive creation of new product and business strategy at the intersection of user needs and business goals
- Lead design and re-design of end-to-end experiences across our Market Risk product suite
- Communicate expectations within the design team for standards of quality through creative direction and critique
- Advance JPMorgan Chase's practice in craft capabilities, internally through mentorship and training
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent industry experience in UX/Interaction Design

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- 8-10 years of UX experience
- Exceptional skills with standard UX software.
- Experience with generative and evaluative research methods.
- User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs
- Understanding of how design translates to code
- Ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent & ideas
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities on tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Open minded, collaborative and flexible work style
- Comfortable receiving feedback and critiques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the value of UX and the rationale behind your research process and design decisions

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in Enterprise Product Design & background in financial products is an advantage.
