**Qualification** : A Graduate/ Post Graduate in Communications and Journalism or Film Studies preferred.

**Role Summary**:
The video script is a video’s blueprint. So, by extension, a video script writer is the architect, a person that shapes a video idea into something tangible: a description of scenes, shots, action and dialogue specifying who is saying and doing what, and when they’re saying or doing it. The Scriptwriter/Writer creates blueprints and details of the script based on concepts or ideas. He/She develops story elements to translate the creative vision into stories for production, with a deep understanding of the storyline and target audience.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Be essentially a storyteller with the knack of telling stories that inform, entertain and engage.
- Write quick, engaging, crisp and grammatically correct scripts for videos with strong hooks
- Exceptional ideation and research skills for long-format video stories around finance-related topics.
- Write social media copies and suggest headlines to be shared for all Bhive Alts videos posted on different social channels.
- Keep an eye out for interesting stories/ new series that can be pitched.
- Independently come up with ideas for specific events (Ex: Budget Day Topics, Video on republic day, etc)
- Work with editors to oversee the stories’ finalization.
- Ensure that the quality of the final story is top-notch.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry and competitors whereby building a strong mechanism of market intelligence
- Flexibility on timings is expected. Should be able to work late evenings and on weekends when required.

**Key Competencies**:

- A professional with 1-3 years experience in writing scripts/copy
- From a digital news/ content media organization
- Should have strong knowledge of the Finance/Investment Sector of India
- Possessing a flawless understanding of Grammar and punctuation
- Needs to have in-depth knowledge of videos
- Someone with the ability to write the same story in different styles.
- An expert in different writing styles that is native to the story type (Ex: Real Estate, Stocks, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment, etc)
