Chief Counsellor

Oversee the delivery of counseling services to clients, ensuring that services are client-centered, evidence-based, and culturally competent.
- Monitor client outcomes and satisfaction to identify areas for improvement and ensure that services meet the needs of the population served.
- Collaborate with other departments or external partners to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Provide leadership and direction to the counseling team, including supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of counseling services.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and professional growth among counselors.
- Lead the development and implementation of new counseling programs or initiatives based on identified needs and best practices.
- Develop and facilitate training programs for counselors to enhance their clinical skills, knowledge of best practices, and cultural competence.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Clinical experience required.
- Master's or Graduate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in counseling, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and assessment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a counseling or mental health setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in counseling practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
