**Job Title: GIS Expert**

**Location**:Jodhpur/Jaipur with frequent travel to field areas

**Contract term**:One year with a possibility for extension (2 months probation period

**Start date**:Immediately

**Responsible to**:Programe Lead

**Responsible for**:Create village level social and resource maps

**Job Activities**:

- Define data collection methodologies for baseline and monitoring systems
- Design field data collection process for mapping and train field staff in data collection
- Create maps and spatial analysis
- Assist in field data collection
- Monitor and administer data bases
- Design mechanisms for documentation of the progress and reporting
- Any other duties as required

**Person Specification**:

- Master’s Degree in geography or earth science, or related field;
- Bachelor’s degree with additional 2 years of experience can be accepted in lieu of Master’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
Experience of GIS systems and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS
- Fluency in English and Hindi language, with excellent written and oral communications skills
- Good interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate at all levels with tact, diplomacy, and cultural sensitivity, to a wide range of stakeholdersat different levels
- Excellent team working skills
- Basic IT skills, including the use of major software packages such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and others as relevant

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: From ₹25,000.00 per month
