**Job Title: Shadow Teacher for Pre-Primary Kid**

**Job Overview**: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher to provide individualized support to a pre-primary child with specific needs in our educational setting. As a Shadow Teacher, you will work closely with the child, teachers, and parents to facilitate the child's participation and engagement in classroom activities. Your primary goal is to ensure the child's overall well-being, foster their learning, and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **One-on-One Support**: Provide personalized support and assistance to the pre-primary child throughout the school day, ensuring their full participation in all activities.

2. Behavior Management: Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with the child's individualized education plan (IEP) and establish a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment.

3. Social Interaction: Support the child in building positive social relationships with peers and encouraging appropriate social behaviors.

4. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with the classroom teachers, school staff, and parents, providing feedback on the child's progress and challenges.

5. Data Collection: Keep detailed records of the child's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement, to assess their development and assist in future planning.

6. Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and reassurance to the child during challenging situations, helping them build self-confidence and resilience.

7. Inclusive Environment: Promote an inclusive and accepting atmosphere in the classroom, raising awareness about diversity and encouraging respect for differences.

8. Safety and Well-being: Ensure the child's safety, health, and overall well-being during school hours, including assistance with mobility and personal care, if necessary.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, child development, or a related field is preferred.

2. Experience: Prior experience working with pre-primary children and children with special needs is highly desirable.

3. Empathy and Patience: Demonstrated ability to show empathy, patience, and understanding while working with young children.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.

5. Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff.

6. Flexibility: Adaptability to handle changing situations and the child's evolving needs.

7. Positive Attitude: A positive and nurturing attitude, creating a safe and encouraging learning environment.

8. Sensitivity: Sensitivity to the child's emotions and challenges, maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy.

9. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions to support the child's progress.

10. Legal Compliance: Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to special education and child safety.

Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: ₹6,000.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month
