Are you passionate about safeguarding the environment? We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Acciona Energia. As an integral member of our Site HSE Team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and upholding our Site HSE Management Plan and Environmental Plans.
Job Description
- Collaborate with the HSE Manager and Site Manager team to effectively implement the Site HSE Management Plan and Environmental Plans.
- Provide expertise in environmental management systems, including ISO 14001.
- Conduct environmental inspections, reporting, and close out of action items.
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to environmental controls.
- Serve as the primary contact for chemical approvals and oversee the storage, use, and disposal of hazardous substances and dangerous goods.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven track record of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Impeccable attention to detail, judgement, and integrity.
- Proficiency in conducting environmental inspections and monitoring.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
