**JD for IT Help Desk**
L1 resource with basic technical knowledge for troubleshooting of laptop / desktop issues.
Good Communication skills
- Identify and diagnose issues and problems
- Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions
- Support problem identification
- Advise users on appropriate course of action
- Monitor issues from start to resolution
- Escalate, if needed, unresolved problems to a higher level of support
- Provide essential online security advice and support
**JD for Desktop Support**
Description:
- The list of activities that are to be handled by end user support team are as listed below.
- Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop / laptop standardization policies of TPL
- Configure and troubleshoot Print Queues for Users / Groups
- Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective team
- Update the knowledge base in the tool based on the successful resolutions provided
- Install TPL approved patches onto desktops / laptops which have failed automatic update
- Troubleshooting printer / scanner related issues (Limited to driver / OS issues)
- Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers
- Troubleshooting issues related to standard software
- Remove virus from respective desktop / laptop
- Install client antivirus software and check virus definition auto updates on desktops / laptops which have failed automatic update
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
