Bioinformatics Programmer

**Eligibility**:
M.Tech /M.C.A/M.Sc./B.Tech/BE in Computer Science/ Statistics/ Bioinformatics/ Biophysics
- Minimum 2 years experience preferably in R&D or scientific activities.
- NET-LS/GATE required (Salary 35,560 without NET or GATE).
- Sound knowledge and skills in at least one major programming language.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of these languages (R or Python)
- Working knowledge in at least one of these languages (C, C++ or Java)
- Web front-end development using Javascript or its libraries
- Experience in database management and web back-end development.
- Sound knowledge of linux command line or shell scripting.

**Role**: Responsible for computational and statistical analysis of high-throughput biological datasets and integration with bioinfomatics databases primarily using R/Bioconductor and Python. Creating and maintaining user-friendly software, web-tools and web-portals for omics analysis and integration. Managing large datasets from genomics databases. Creating web-based analytic tools and portals. You will be part of a team and assist in creating and maintaining computational infrastructure and analytic modules for a research lab. Contract can be renewed yearly based on performance.
