Are you an experienced leader in the field of new product development (NPD) looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further Sansera Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as the NPD AGM (Assistant General Manager) to lead our NPD department.

As the NPD AGM at Sansera Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire new product development process, from ideation to commercialization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products, from concept development to production. This role will require a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, as well as the ability to effectively manage and lead a team of NPD professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee the NPD department, setting goals and objectives, and ensuring the successful development and launch of new products.

2. Work closely with engineering, research and development, marketing, and production teams to drive the NPD process and ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of new products.

3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and successful product development.

4. Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive the development of new products that meet market demands.

5. Lead the NPD team in the development of project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful execution of new product development initiatives.

6. Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the NPD department, driving best practices and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

7. Develop and implement robust processes and systems to support the NPD function, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in product development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Minimum 8 years of experience in new product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven track record of successful new product launches and driving innovation
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of automotive or manufacturing industries is preferred
