Lactation Counsellor

Description
- Responsible for providing support and guidance to new and expecting mothers on breastfeeding and lactation.
- Responsible to provide education and counseling on breastfeeding techniques, nutrition, and other related topics.
- Responsible to provide support to mothers in developing and maintaining successful breastfeeding relationships.
- Responsible for monitoring the progress of mothers and their babies, and providing referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provide breastfeeding education and support to pregnant women and new mothers, including information on breastfeeding benefits, techniques, positioning, and milk supply management.
- Conduct one-on-one lactation counseling sessions with breastfeeding mothers to assess breastfeeding difficulties, provide individualized support, and develop personalized care plans.
- Assist breastfeeding mothers with effective latch and positioning techniques, milk transfer assessment, and addressing common breastfeeding challenges such as engorgement, sore nipples, and low milk supply.
- Offer emotional support, encouragement, and reassurance to breastfeeding mothers, addressing their concerns, fears, and anxieties related to breastfeeding.
- Facilitate breastfeeding support groups, breastfeeding circles, or peer counseling programs to provide breastfeeding mothers with a supportive community and shared experiences.

**BSc (Bachelor of Science)**

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
