Job Description: Woodworking Factory Supervisor

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
Supervise Production: Manage and oversee the day-to-day production operations in a fully automated furniture manufacturing factory.

CNC Machine Operation: Operate and maintain high-end CNC machines efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and production output.

Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

Workflow Management: Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring timely completion of orders and delivery of finished products.

Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of woodworking technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.

Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials, tools, and equipment required for production.

Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any production issues or machinery malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.

Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, labor hours, and equipment maintenance logs.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) or BE (Bachelor's degree) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in woodwork/furniture production.

CNC Machine Experience: Extensive experience in operating high-end CNC machines, with a solid understanding of their maintenance and troubleshooting.

Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in supervising production processes in a modular kitchen/furniture manufacturing factory or similar industry.

Joinery Work Experience (preferred): Prior experience in joinery work, such as the construction of modular kitchens or custom furniture, is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to woodworking and furniture production.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team of woodworking technicians effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production issues and optimize workflow.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.

Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to woodworking and manufacturing operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: Up to ₹30,313.07 per month

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
