Job description

**Role & responsibilities**
- Strong technical knowledge of steel melting operations, including EAF, ladle refining furnace, VD and CCM processes.
- Process control and Heat Making in (EAF/LRF) with different Charge Mix combination
- Operating Furnace and tapping of liquid metal is part of responsibility
- Oversee Ladle Refining Furnace operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor ladle refining processes, such as temperature, chemistry, and refining time, to achieve desired results.
- Direct the transfer and positioning of ladles into the ladle metallurgical station area
- Take sample and temperature reading, and adjust chemistry as required
- Calculate and make alloy and fluxes additions
- Patching and repairing of a furnace (mgo.by shawling, by robotic & manually)
- Charging of scrap, cast an iron ( scrap of small size ) power on (start the furnace)
- Reduce the carbon by oxygen jet during refining, analysis (sampling for carbon)

**Education**

UG: B.Tech /B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Diploma in Mechanical, ITI

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
