District Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Central Government, District level Government and other stakeholders to develop annual plans for activities under each component
2. Lead the District-level team, and ensure a coordinated approach to all components in the district and resolve issues or problems.
3. Coordinating with the project head field coordinators
4. The District Coordinator will coordinate all activities at the district level, and lead district and local-level planning and capacity-building
5. Ensure the timely submission of operational reports.
6. Participate in program review meetings.
7. Perform other duties as required by the programme
Special Note
1. Manage the daily project activities of the base.
2. Facilitate the work of the local team on various levels.
3. Summarize, evaluate and update on a regular basis the programs.
4. Contribute to past and future programs of the base.
5. Analyse how the situation develops; liaise with other MFIs and, with the general coordinator.
7. Contribute to the monthly activities report.
Key Requirements: Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate BBA, BA(Sociology / Economics/ Development Studies/Public Policy/ Public Administration), B.Com/ MSW/ MA (Sociology / Economics/ Development Studies/Public Policy/ Public Administration)or equivalent.
Proven experience in project coordination and leadership roles. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Microfinance, Livelihoods, MSME, and Development Sector both in the Field and Office.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with Advance Excel, Formulas MS Office
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with the local context and cultural nuances of the assigned district
Proficiency in English and Tamil languages.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
