- I will combine commercial thinking with bold decision making, through the use of complex data and analytics to provide specialist advice on Enterprise “retail” segments underlying performance. I am accountable for the delivery of commercial trading reporting and insight for both BT and EE brands. As a trusted partner I will contextualise the outputs to drive and inform the key focus areas for the commercial trading reviews to steer and influence decisions and performance interventions at, segment, sub segment and customer account level.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Specifically, this job is accountable for:

Manage a team of 4 to 5 BI Professional
- Executes a range of workstreams in building and implementing processes to capture, manage, store and utilise structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources, turning business needs into the data that supports the data strategies
- Drives the design, coding, unit testing and deployment of data processes for ingestion and transformation of data while keeping data security and privacy in mind
- Submitting and signing off operational KPIs (including adjustments) used internally for the various Enterprise Functions to be used in performance reviews
- Providing specialist advice to inform/contribute to the strategic direction for key commercial decisions to optimise commercial value through CFU and segment trading performance and insight- Eg Proactively identifying, and recommending the_
- creation of new KPIs such as Mobile churn with no_
- opportunity coverage across segments to _
- recommend segment strategy for addressing_
- performance gaps_- Recommending the specific segment inputs/definitions into the commercial trading KPI measurement framework ensuring consistency and integrity.
- Managing governance and controls to assure accuracy of internal segment trading KPIs
- Providing rapid proactive and reactive response to specialist sales segment deep dive analysis requests.**Skills**:
**Story-telling with data**:Strong communication skills clearly translating complex concepts relating to segment, portfolio, systems and process dynamics that can create trading and non trading impacts on reported KPI results.
- Expert user of data visualisation tools primarily Tableau to help deliver key insights-
**Business acumen**: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases)
- Expert in B2B segmentation, products, systems and processes-
**Technical**:
- Database systems (SQL and NoSQL / Big Query / DBMS)
- Data warehousing solutions
- ETL Tools
- Python (Good to have)-
**People Management**: 5+ years of People Management experience must**3 Skills in demand most suitable to the job.**Use data analytics**: Uses knowledge and collection of data to support decisions. Delivers initiatives to improve data analytics in BT.

**Give specialised advice**: Offers advice and makes recommendations based on expertise, suggesting solutions and improvements.

**Hold others to account**: Understands expectations and manages themselves to high ethical and values standards. Will call out poor behaviour in others.-
- Able to manage expectations of several director level (n-3) stakeholders and effectively prioritise the workload / deliverables**Experience**:

- Preferred qualifications in BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions, specialising in Data Analytics or BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or BSc (Hons) in Information and Communication Technology- Preferred domain experience and expertise in the Business telecoms market, its products and systems**Why this job matters**

3.Undertakes initial data investigation and data analysis in order to identify trends in data.
4.Supports the development and refinement of data dashboards and reports.
5.Supports the presentation of data insights to relevant stakeholders for planning and decision support.
6.Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of data analytics.
