**QUALIFICATION : M.B.B.S. / BAMS /BHMS**

**DRESS CODE : SPECIFIED DRESS CODE WITH I.D. CARD**

**DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Key areas of responsibility:_
- **Morning Duty**:_
- _Take over from night residents_
- _Conditions of the patients._
- _Acute events in the night._
- _New Admissions._
- _Work up all new points._
- _Prepare files and patients for surgery._
- _Take History, examine the patient, coordinate investigation as instructed by the consultant - Doctor, explain about informed consent to patient._
- _Inform Consultants regarding any unusual test reports, patient is ready._
- _Complete and send files to the Operation Theatre._
- _Receive patients on the floor from the Operation Theatre Write a note regarding condition on Shifting to the floor._
- _Discharge Summary of patients to be filled up for discharge - at night._
- _Round with the Consultant’s and the Nurses._
- _Resident on Ground Floor to also look after emergencies, if EMO is not available or on leave._
- _Handing over to the evening R.M.O.s._
- **Evening Duty**:_
- _Take over from morning R.M.O.s all admissions, all surgeries, all acute events_
- _Visit all new patients and all patients back from Operation Theatre._
- _Evening round with the consultants._
- _Complete whatever is left Over of paperwork._
- _Residents to look after emergencies._
- _Handing over to the Night R.M.O.’s._
- **Night Duty**:_
- _Details taken over from the evening duty R.M.O.’s._
- _Visit all patients and record any fresh events._
- _Manage emergencies._
- _Discharges which have been pre-planned._
- _Inform Consultants regarding the condition as and when required._
- _Night report to be recorded in case files._
- _Work up case files if any new admissions/ inform concerned consultant._
- _Handing over to the morning R.M.O.’s._
- _Revised details to be written on all files._
- _To give priority to emergency cases and to co-ordinate with the consultants / respective department for the same._
- _To treat all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially._
- _To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities/ attend regularly NABH training schedule._
- _To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work/ shortage of RMO (in emergency if any RMO has to take leave)_
- _Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement._
- _To strictly follow duty roster, not to exchange duties frequently._
- _To take prior permission for leave from HOD._

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

- Night Shift
