**Position description**:
This role required knowledge about operations of glass working lathe to preform or handle joining process and technology with prefrom diameters ranging from 100 mm to 200 mm also with familiar with HF preform washing and HF handling processes.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Working in all three shifts & executing furnace floor operations.
- Carrying out Preform handle joining, cone preparation operations on glass working lathe
- Firepolish of preforms
- HF cleaning of preforms.
- Ensure that the shift production targets are met as per plan with specified product yield & quality.
- Keep all the machines in good operation status.
- Submit regular reports on performance & progress.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvement.
- Ensure that the Production entries done in ERP
- Troubleshooting of operation and process issues in the shift

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Reporting of near miss/injures.
- Maintaining good safe enviroment to avoid slips, trips & other physical injuries.
- Working as per implemented QMS/ EOHS compliances.

**Educational qualifications preferred**
