SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Assist the chemist in developing and maintaining products by making, testing and evaluating paint/binder/raw materials to contribute in reaching the goals of the R&D plan.

Responsibilities: -Prepare and test the department's products in accordance with request and instructions from chemist -Assist the chemist in making, testing and evaluate paint/binder/raw material according to given procedures -Report results continuously to ensure that stakeholders are informed -Knowledge and use of necessary safety equipment as described and to take into consideration general safety, this includes being able to understand content and the meaning of safety data sheets. -Attend to the daily order in the laboratory so that the work space is tidy, safe and pleasant. -Ensure that the necessary raw materials, packaging and other laboratory equipment are available to ensure an effective work environment. -Carry out other duties as assigned.
