The Downstream & Trading Reporting & Analysis Organisation is a team of >1,000 colleagues providing accurate, timely and insightful analysis to deliver more and cleaner energy solutions.

Within the Downstream & Trading Reporting & Analysis Organisation, there is a team responsible for Sectors & Decarbonisation PAR. This role reports into Global Agriculture & Forestry, EUR Construction & Road PAR Manager and is directly responsible for supporting the Cluster Business Managers, Regional FM, Regional PAM Advisor and Global Construction and Agri Global PAR Manager.

**What’s the role?**

The EU Supply Advisor is responsible for supporting the delivery of PAR for Construction & Road Africa and Europe Construction and Road Supply Chain.

The EU Supply Advisor will consider economic and business trends, review past company performance, and attempt to anticipate obstacles and potential problems, all with an eye toward forecasting the business’ future financial results and supporting delivery of its ultimate potential.

The key stakeholder for the EU Supply Advisor Advisor is the Cluster Business Managers, Regional Pricing Manager, Regional Supply Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Regional FM, Regional and Global PAM, and Global Agriculture & Forestry, EUR Construction & Road PAR Manager, with whom they will partner closely to deliver the following:
The annual or other strategic plans for the Business and relevant constituent parts.

Management information for the Africa C&R business, EUR Opex.

Development of all materials for quarterly or other scheduled appraisal of performance.

Preparation of financial forecasts

The scope of the role includes co-ordination with supply (equity, JV, 3rd party), operations, pricing and sales (domestic, international) & includes contracts management and value chain optimization.

Working closely with the Controllers Teams to ensure seamless flow of information on the business activities ensuring accurate and timely accounting entries for financial and management information purposes.

The EU Supply Advisor will work closely with Regional PAM and Global Agriculture & Forestry, EUR Construction & Road PAR Manager to ensure alignment of activities and execution of standard PAR processes.

**What we need from you?**

You will inspire people to make changes that will have a direct impact on our success. Furthermore, you will have:
A Bachelors degree or Professional Qualification, in Accounting/Finance with exceptional numeracy skills.

Excellent oral and written presentation skills.

A strong understanding of the EUR Construction and Road Financial and Management Information Systems and Data Flows as well as a passion for leveraging technology to automate MI and increasingly build data-driven plans & forecasts.

Support the QBR process for Africa and Supply team within the EUR Construction and Road business and deliver fit-for-purpose content by working with the Regional PAMs, Global PAM Advisor within the Global Construction &Road PAR Manager’s team, as well as the Sector and Decarbonization Global PAR team.

Own and drive Operating Plan (OP), Strategic Plan (SP) and Business Monitoring (BM) process e2e for the business by working with PAM community and senior stakeholders.

In addition to the above, often delivering credible business plan also requires developing an understanding of how EUR supply chain impact tothe other Clusters within EUR Construction & Road especially in the macroeconomic context of supply demand balance.

Passion for the Construction and Road Business, it’s contribution within the Sectors & Decarbonisation Business, The Energy Transition and a curiosity for how the business delivers value.

The ability to process and link large volumes of incomplete information into a compelling set of actionable analyses for senior business leaders is key
