**Title: Chief Financial Officer for a leading MEP Service Provider**

**Location**:Mumbai

**Role**:Our client, a leading MEP industry company, is seeking a CFO to lead the financial operations of the company and play a key role in the development and execution of the company's financial strategy. The CFO will be responsible for driving the company's financial success through strategic planning, project finance, and fundraising.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- The incumbent be responsible for active management, supervision, and control of the finance, accounting, and tax functions of the Group.
- Expected to support on all strategic and operational matters relating to project appraisals, risk management, financing, accounting and controls, Taxation, budget management, annual and strategic planning and forecasting, MIS, and operational controls.
- He would also be responsible for the implementation and management of adequate enterprise-level systems for the group's businesses.
- Ensure to improve the credit rating of the listed entity and its Subsidiaries.
- Ensuring the timely preparation of financial statements for the listed entity and its subsidiaries in accordance with listing guidelines.
- Responsible for budgets, monitoring of actual performance vis
- vis budgets, and financial plans, and providing periodic inputs to CMD on operating and financial results of the Group.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, audit processes, reports to shareholders, and tax returns.
- Compliance with GST laws.
- Develop and maintain the system of internal controls to safeguard the financial, physical, and other assets of the organization.
- Drive cost management initiatives within the organization to achieve improving efficiencies within the organization.
- Oversee Finance, accounting, and Tax departments, budget preparation, and audit functions. Meets regularly with department heads to keep informed and to offer direction.
- Attend Board Meetings where invited and present the financial statements to the Board. Attend the queries of investors related to accounts and actively participate in the analyst call.
- Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors and the preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with the laws of the land where the company operates.
- Overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the ERP and Tally, its related controls (Segregation of duties, etc.), and defining limits and authorities for the ERP tool and around it. To implement the ERP fully. Also, to define the operating matrix for TALLY.
- Should have strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships, as well as assisting in the development of businesses, models, and negotiations of contracts.
- Provide an operating budget, and work with the HODs to ensure success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree in finance or CA, CFA.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience Post Qualification
- Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in project finance and fundraising in the MEP industry.
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience with debt and equity financing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and manage financial controls and reporting systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and develop a team.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
