We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Testing Engineer to join our team. As an ETL Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and performance of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and automate test cases for ETL workflows, identify and troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability of data pipelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Conduct thorough data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the ETL workflow.
- Identify, prioritize, and escalate defects and issues discovered during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Perform performance testing to evaluate the scalability and efficiency of ETL processes under various conditions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define testing criteria.
- Document test results, defects, and findings in detail, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing methodologies and tools.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to contribute insights and expertise.
- 4+ years of experience.
- testing experience with ETL- Data gap Tool
- 3+ years of experience in Data warehouse/ETL testing - Mandatory
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries in oracle - Mandatory
- Proficient in the use of tools that support test management - e.g. JIRA
- Experience in developing/maintaining Test automation frameworks
- Ability to work and collaborate with a team across geographies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Strong communication skills

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in ETL testing, data validation, and data quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Hands-on experience with ETL testing tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
