Main activities/responsibilities:
- Uses sound engineering principles and experience to perform calibration to conduct targeted
procedures and tools shared by Marelli or by the Customer
- Supports powertrain test cell activities for powertrain software development, integration and
optimization including advanced features.
- Handle responsibilities at engine test bed for power-torque optimization, emission
optimization, fuel economy improvements, Fuel map, torque map, Injection timing and fuel
controls.
- Rail pressure controls optimization, Injector and pump protection functionalities tunings
- Vehicle drivability improvements with pedal filtering, anti-oscillation controls etc
- Works with customer on software and hardware updates and deliveries on all powertrain systems and
Create “Calibration Manual”, of which target is to share the sense of calibration with the Customer.
- Provides technical analysis and input for new powertrain systems, advanced features, and
emerging powertrain systems.
- Actively participates in vehicle development, verification, release, and implementation of
software for Customers and quality support.
- Works with OBD team to build robust diagnostic calibrations.
- Leads initiatives to improve calibration and testing methods for higher efficiency and
effectiveness
- Close interaction with customer to support their fleet validation for physical components and
calibration robustness
- Responsible for calibration data management & report generation
- Responsible for calibration integration and release to customer
- Meeting the customer requirements on vehicle Launch, engine performance and gearshift
quality related items
- To Manage customer drawings/ specification meetings / Diagnostics & Safety calibration
reports.
- Customer interface for problem solving in industrialization, necessary support to internal and
external customers.
- To work on the new technology like BS-6.2 / GDI / Flex fuel / Hybrids / AMT / DCT

Key Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Engines / Gasoline / CNG / Transmission / Vehicle
- Knowledge of automotive mechanical and electronic component and basic principle of electronics.
- Basic knowledge/ Hands on experience of tools like INCA/ VISU/ DoE/ Matlab/ ETAS tools
- Knowledge of vehicle integration, vehicle level functions, Usage of PC and Office Automation tool
- knowledge in Verification Techniques & Methodologies
- Strong communication skills and pro-active attitude
- Precise and analytical
- Has good relations with internal team members.
- Problem solving attitude
Language Skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Basic spoken Italian (optional)
- Basic spoken Japanese (optional)
Education & Former Experience
- Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Degree (preferably Master’s)
- More than 4-6 years of experience in calibration domain (engines)
- More than 2-3 years of experience to manage activity in customer premises.
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
