Typesetter / Paginator / Compositor

**Job description**

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in various publications, including books, journals and magazines. Ensuring high-quality layout and design. This role requires excellent attention to detail, creativity, and proficiency in typesetting software and typography principles.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of typesetting terminologies, proof markings, quality concepts, typography, and typesetting standards.
- Hands-on experience in InDesign Template Development.
- Knowledge of XML first workflow.
- Experience in handling STM and School books Pagination.
- Knowledge of Journal workflow.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, MS Office, and PitStop.
- Working knowledge of MathType.

**Requirements**:

- 2-6 years of pagination experience in a fast-paced publishing environment.
- Well-organized, with a strong attention to detail and good problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Quick and detail-oriented, with strong layout design capabilities.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and MS Office.
- Understanding of all phases of design, layout, and production.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communications and collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
