Purpose of the Job: The person is responsible for analyse substances, develop new products, or improve existing ones. They may specialize in one or more areas, such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and biochemistry
- Supervisory Responsibilities: ▪ Lab chemist should have knowledge on the product safety and their role with respect to product safety.
▪ Any chemicals, glass wares and laboratory checked materials need not go to the production floor.
▪ Lab chemist should adhere with the QMS requirements as well as GMP/GLP requirements.
▪ Lab chemist should support lab in-charge and manager for the QMS & GMP audits.
▪ Lab chemist must identify and prepared the environments aspects & impact with respect to laboratory related activities.
▪ Be familiar with the training plan and how each unit relates to workplace tasks
▪ Act as mentor and be a role model.

Job Roles / Duties:
Job related:
▪ Effective support to production department with respect to lab related analysis for on-time shipment.
▪ Ensure the accuracy and precision of the analysis.
▪ Ensure the compliance of the product safety ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & safety requirements of the organization.
▪ Ensure the product safety with respect to laboratory analysis.
▪ Ensure the laboratory equipment working condition & calibration status

Health & safety related:
▪ Adhere the safety norms to avoid the accidents and avoid the unsafe act. Identify and highlight the unsafe condition to improve the safety standards in lab.
▪ Adequate PPEs must be worn when carrying out the risk associated activities.
▪ Lab chemists always keep the lab housekeeping standards up to the mark to avoid accidents.
▪ Proper identification should be done in the chemicals and its storage place. Appropriate MSDS should be in place.
▪ Ready to respond on emergencies and aware about the first aid attendants.
▪ Environmental aspect:
▪ Lab chemist must identify and prepared the environments aspects & impact with respect to laboratory related activities. Demonstrate their ability to manage environment safely.
▪ Lab chemists demonstrate their ability to manage spill control based on MSDS reference. ▪ Lab chemist must ensure segregation of the wastes and disposal of the same in the appropriate bins.
▪ Ensure lab wastes are not contaminating the any of the natural resources.
▪ Lab chemists demonstrate their contribution on power, energy and natural resource

Product aspect:
▪ Lab chemist demonstrate the ability to conform the product safety related to their roles. ▪ Lab chemist must ensure no chemicals and no laboratory checked materials entry to the production floor.
▪ Lab chemist demonstrate the compliance about the QMS requirements as well as GMP/GLP requirements to ensure the product safety.
▪ Lab chemist should support lab in-charge and manager for the QMS & GMP audits to improve the product safety compliances.
▪ Lab chemist must ensure non-confirming goods are properly identified, segregated, and managed


Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

- Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 2 years (preferred)
- Chemist: 2 years (preferred)
