As a Pastry Chef you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the pastry and dessert preparation within the culinary department. Your role will involve creating, designing, and executing a wide range of delectable pastries, desserts, and baked goods to meet the high standards of the hotel's guests.

**Menu Planning and Development**:
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and seasonal pastry and dessert menus that align with the hotel's culinary philosophy and guest preferences.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.

**Food Preparation**:
Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring they meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
Supervise the production process, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.

**Team Management**:
Lead and manage the pastry kitchen team, including pastry cooks, bakers, and assistants.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure consistent skill development and a motivated team.

**Quality Control**:
Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure all food products meet the hotel's standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
Conduct regular tastings and evaluations to uphold the quality of pastries and desserts.

**Inventory Management**:
Oversee inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies.
Monitor food costs and work to minimize waste while maintaining quality.

**Kitchen Hygiene and Safety**:
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen, following best practices for hygiene and safety.

**Collaboration**:
Collaborate with other departments, such as banquet and restaurant teams, to coordinate pastry offerings for events, special occasions, and daily service.

**Creative Development**:
Experiment with new recipes, flavors, and techniques to continuously enhance the pastry menu.
Present innovative dessert displays and showpieces for special events.

**Budgeting**:
Assist in creating and managing the pastry department's budget, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising quality.

**Guest Interaction**:
Interact with guests, take special requests, and address any concerns to ensure a memorable dining experience.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end culinary establishment, preferably in a star-rated hotel.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts.
- Strong creativity and a passion for exploring new flavors and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient selection, and dessert presentation.
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
