As a Continental Demis Chef de Partie (DCDP), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a specific section within the kitchen, focusing on preparing and cooking Continental dishes. You will work under the guidance of senior chefs to ensure the high-quality and timely production of dishes in your section.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Continental dishes in your designated section.
- Assist in the planning and development of menus, recipes, and specials within the Continental cuisine.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients used in your section.
- Ensure that all dishes leaving your section are prepared and presented to the restaurant's quality standards.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff assigned to your section.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in your section and the overall kitchen.
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new dishes and improve existing ones.
- Support other kitchen sections during peak business hours, as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a kitchen environment with a focus on Continental cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Effective communication skills within the kitchen team.
- Creativity and ability to contribute to menu development.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy pots, pans, and trays.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
