**Position summary**:
BHIVE is looking for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analysing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing designs and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with site managers & designers.To be successful as a quantity surveyor, you should have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding quantity surveyors are not only great at analysing costs, but they also know how to read designs and tailor strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.
- **What you’ll do (Key deliverables)**:

- Should have good communication skills, written and oral for interaction with designers and project managers.
- Preparation of detailed BoQ
- Coordination with Design team for Understanding and analysing Architectural & Service drawings and involved in preparation of initial quote to sales team.
- Coordination with project managers to understand on site conditions and foresee expected challenges and cater for the same in BoQs
- Should be able understand the product with respect to gypsum, tile, paint, glass, aluminium partition, modular partition, waterproofing, carpentry, wood works. Masonry, block works, interior finishes, floor finishes, ceiling finishes but not limited to civil, interiors & MEP.
- Should have good working knowledge in AutoCAD and should be able take and validate quantities from the given drawings.

- Minimum Graduation or similar
- Ability to assess design feasibility, visualize on-site conditions and foresee execution risks
- Proactive and capable of prioritizing work
- Extremely high level of ownership and learning aptitude
- **Minimum qualifications/ Experience**:

- 2+ years’ experience from Civil / MEP / Interiors quantity surveyor with a reputed Interiors/ Construction company with knowledge on commercial interior fit outs quantification rate analysis.
