**The role**

Working for a lead retail brand this position is dual role - the main role is Quality Checking, but also with the ability to create accurate creative artwork. As an artworker you will need to deliver high quality, accurate artwork and adaptations across print and digital formats, following all studio processes and working from the brand toolkits. As a member of the QC team, you’ll perform all the necessary checks to ensure that the artwork produced in the studio meets the required high standards of quality, in compliance with the client’s specifications and the studio process. Working on a wide range of projects creating or quality checking in-store POS and Marketing Materials you will be comfortable managing multiple projects at once and working with the Traffic Manager prioritising your workload.

Key Responsibilities:

- able to manage your own projects and work under tight deadlines while maintaining production schedules, accurately recording all time into the Workfront system.
- adhere to the company’s studio-specific processes
- working to client’s brand guidelines to maintain brand consistency across multiple projects
- Creative Artworker_
- multi-skilled in print and digital artwork, colour management and retouch (skin and product).
- ability to create and adapt artwork from concepts and templates while adhering to client guidelines.
- QC_
- perform quality checks on a range of text-heavy artwork files, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to
- able to ensure client’s copy, specifications and layout amends are actioned correctly, using Adobe Acrobat
- compare documents against previous versions to detect any unforeseen errors
- annotate PDFs where necessary and liaise with artworkers and Traffic teams, ensuring deadlines are met

Knowledge, Skills + Experience:

- Proven experience of working in a fast paced creative/production studio environment working on both print and digital projects.
- You have expert skills with: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Proven track record of creative artworking and QC reviews across multiple channels.
- Data merge experience desirable, but not essential
- Easy-going, able to multi-task, deal with multiple rounds of edits, amends and starting over.
- Flexible and can adapt to quickly changing priorities and tasks.
- You are open to constructive criticism and can maintain a great attitude under pressure.
- You are a true team player and your first priority is the client’s satisfaction.
- Confidence to effectively communicate with peers
