**Position Overview**:
As a Compliance Specialist for Regulatory and Operational Compliance (ROC), you will play a critical role in ensuring that KP Group complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to our operations. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory developments, assessing their impact on our business, and implementing necessary measures to maintain compliance. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance compliance processes and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to our business operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of our current compliance practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on our operations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to ensure awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements among employees.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of our compliance programs.
- Investigate and address compliance issues, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports as required by applicable regulatory authorities.
- Foster a culture of compliance within the organization by promoting ethical behavior and integrity in all business activities.
- **Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) is a plus.
- Proven experience 1 year working in a compliance role, preferably in a regulated industry such as Renewable Energy.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex regulatory issues and develop practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
