As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our (image) development, testing and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and enhance the reliability and security of our systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**:Design,** **Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the generation of (Windows) operating systems images and services.
- **Security and Compliance**: Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security best practices, perform regular audits (Nessus, CIS-CAT), and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Quality assurance**:Testing (both unit and integration) of operating system images and included services. Preferably as much as possible automated with tools like Pester and InSpec
- Designing a solution for identity management (LDAP based) in a DMZ (most likely based on RODC)
- Creation of standard deployment scripts for identity management solution in a DMZ
- Generating OS images (including patches) from a CI/CD pipeline
- Improving CI/CD pipeline efficiency
- Embedding drivers and firmware updates in OS images
- Testing of OS images on hardware devices (server and client)
- Testing security compliancy of OS images with Nessus and CIS-CAT
- Preparing OS images (ISO) for vendor (factory) pre-installation
- Integration testing of OS images in combination with Active Directory and Certificate Authorities

Support in regular releases of our products

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (LDAP, Active Directory, ADFS, Certificates).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell; familiarity with other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DMZ), security principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Windows Server (including roles) and client operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like DISM, Packer, Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
